Disease outbreaks remain a major public health challenge, particularly in rural and underserved communities where access to accurate health information is limited. In response, Chariton Organization, through its dedicated volunteer team, carried out a community education and awareness program on disease outbreak prevention and response across selected communities in Gombe State.

Bringing Health Education to the Grassroots

The outreach focused on equipping community members with practical knowledge to recognize, prevent, and respond to common disease outbreaks. By engaging people directly within their communities, Chariton volunteers ensured that life-saving information reached those who need it most.
